MAB,
It's good to hear you and Tina are having a good time; although poor Tina has to work part of the time.  I have to give you credit for practicing what you preach.  Talk about getting out of the "Living Room".   You are always out there networking, meeting new people, creating opportunities with new artist's, keeping in touch with old friends, and supporting everyone's efforts.
To repeat the words of the great Jay Verne, "There is only 'one' MAB".
Hey RiDawn Raelette,  I really enjoyed reading your post and getting to know a little more about you and your journey.  I must comment again how much your possitive attitude comes out in your post's and how inspiring you must be to everyone that meets you.   Please tell the hubby not to get upset when the Old Dog finally get's that first hug from you, and I hold on a little longer than he might allow.   Ha!!!
Hey Kid,  the Old Dog has been pretty hard on you and most of the time I was just teasing, the rest of the time I was just drunk.
Hey,  you are like the male version of RiDawn Raelette,  you too are very possitive and enthusiastic about your musical journey.
I'll have to call you Justin Raelette.  Ha!!!  You can come out now; from behind that backyard privacy fence, the Old Dog won't growl at you anymore (I hope).  The "Boot" MAB sent the Old Dog had nothing to do with my change in attitude.  Ha!!!
I hope you take The MAB up on his offer to post the lyrics of your last song up here on the Forum.  It will take some guts on your part, it will allow you and all of us a chance to learn something.  The craft so simple for a pro writer, yet somewhat difficult for us learning to follow without even thinking about it.  All the advise we have heard, the mistakes we constantly make, the number of songs we write trying to get better, trying to get to the point we have learned the craft and can write closer to the Nashville Bar.
We should all remember the wise words of a Pro Writer (name unknown) that said....... and I quote from him:
"Write every song you can to learn the craft, then when you have a great song idea you know what to do with it".
Hey Philboy,  I must say how much of an inspiration you are for this Old Dog.  The fact that you are willing to push forward and stay active means more to this Old Dog than any "Ensure" senior citizens commercials I have seen.  While you were out polishing off your RV getting ready for your FB trip.  The Old Dog was polishing off another twelve pack getting ready for a nap.  While you're out volunteering to help at the FB festival, the Old Dog is looking for 'volunteers' to help out bringing in "meals on wheels" and clean up my house.  Ha!!!
(I'm watching you Ol Buddy).
