This is a great write! But, what do you think about adding a bridge to the song that shows his fear and give a little bit of insight to the poker player.
How long will he keep rolling

That sometimes even keeps him up at night
His inner fear of crashing
always lies within
Once you reach the top
air gets very thin...
Something like that. You paint the picture of this super confident guy and it seems like nothing and nobody can beat him, but behind all that there is just a normal guy who has fears like everyone else.
