It might be kind of interesting to tell Jarrod your story of how you are refocusing your energies in writing and performing. Jarrod is a good performer but until recently didn't have enough structure in his songs. (TOO LONG AND TOO POETIC.) You might mention some things not only that you have learned but things you see in others that DON'T seem to pull it together on your travels. You have actually seen quite a bit in Nashville with other writers and while you don't have to name names, it is interesting to comment on things you see that people do (OVER AND OVER AGAIN) That LOSES the audience's attention.
