I'm very happy she has chosen to join us. RiDawn and I have been friends for about fifteen years, and have just recently reconnected. She has been one of my favorite people, and I am very proud of her for wanting to get back in the saddle musically. We have been writing songs regularly over the past month or so, and are going to perform a few this Thus. She's one of those people that I know that really should have gotten a lot more attention than she did. As I have oft explained here, one of the things about Nashville is that you constantly get to know writers, artists, songs, labels, publishers, producers, etc. that you go, "man, if the world could see what I see.."
She is very much like that. So I am having a great time trying to reconnect her with her music.
