MAB, one of the cool things about the new reply dialog is, you can move it around. So, when the post you want to repy to is three posts above you, simply move this reply dialog up; move the thread page up; repeat until the reply dialog is where the post is. Then, if you put the curson on this dialog header, it makes the dialog "see through" so you can read the post as you are typing your response.
