Yes Ott! "Girl" is SO overused! I had "girl" in a couple recent songd, and reworded the lyrics to get the word out.
Aww RiDawn! I don't think you could hurt anybody's feelings. You are asboutely correct. We all sort of turn into our parrents. I do miss all the music I grew up on and fell in love with in the 70's-90's. But the good new for me is, the "country" music change has been gradual enough I've accepted most of it. The main reason I still like current country is that the story and visual descriptions are still there! IN MOST OF IT! There are those songs that are missing those elements and those are the ones I don't particularly care for.
