MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
Well MAB, yes, I've sort of "moved on". I'm busy these days "doing it". I usually play at least one open mic a week. Next week I may try one right down the street from me. The problem with it is it doesn't start until 10pm and they allow smoking there. It is a very small venue without a stage and very noisy. Haven't been writing much. Kevin and I did kind of write a song at Frank Brown. But, he took what I started and went off in a direction I wasn't interested in. So, he wrote his song, and after I got back home, I wrote my song. It's all good though.
Hey MAB! Before I forget to tell you, I will be in Nashville March 13-16. I emailed Jalinda, and I have a 10:45 slot in their Thursday writers night. I couldn't believe how filled up it is through March! And it's not even Christmas! Glad to see they are doing so well there. I also plan to play Cathy's open mic at Flora-Bama Monday night, Gary's open Mic in Franklin Tuesday night, and Sam's Jam's Wednesday afternoon. Right now I'll come home on Friday, unless you have something going on that night.
