Another effect is the life cycle of anything.. It seems that boards have a cycle of about 7 years before they become " Meh" and not just music boards. I am not sure why . I am on several other boards . some woodworking and a couple of others and they all seem to end up with the same 6-12 people keeping the thing afloat.
its probably for the same kind of reasons that manufacturers keep re inventing their products.. The new improved taste, the latest tech gadgets incorporated into the new model car .. etc

BTW several of us have made suggestions to the boss about souping up songramp upon which he has been working . But like so many things, its the back room that has their foot on the accelerator ( or not ) .
