Actually OD, what is killing pretty much every thing is that EVERYONE has a soapbox now. Everyone has a platform. Most people have NO INCLINATION to listen to anyone BUT themselves. If you look at Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, etc. you see the vast majority are people posting pictures, songs, stories of THEMSELVES. That is all most people have any interest in. So sites that offer help and guidance are all but rejected by most people who THINK they actually know it all.
Also, like music itself, there are SO MANY SITES. They end up canceling each other out. So the real problem is more APATHY than anything else. Most people simply don't care.
But if you have been around this for any length of time, you know that this too is nothing new.
