Hey guys, Back in Nashville.

Phil, this was a "fly trip". I have to fly on those long distances, driving takes too long and costs too much. Tina stayed home on this one. IT was a very busy time, seven shows in six days, a workshop, two writing appointments and a couple other private events. And trying to get in some sight seeing, dealing with enormous traffic, having to drive a LOT of distance, (the shows were all over the place, from Plymouth Rock, to New Hampshire. No one was in the same place, although I did play one place as the first gig and the last one.

Was a real wearing experience. Glad I did it, but glad to be back. Matt is doing well, but has his hands full. With over 800 artists involved in the New England to Nashville group, who ALL want to be booked, all want to have their moment in the sun, he is going to have his hands full for a while. And he is doing not one but three businesses, his main business, his Nashville publishing business and now this booking agency. And not to mention the MARTHA'S VINYARD songwriters seminar, which is growing by leaps and bounds. And Justin, we all thought YOU had big ideals. I've seen less kill a lot of people. I hope he makes it. And I hope he gets some REST. He needs it. He is back in Nashville NEXT WEEK!

So that is what is going on. And this week doesn't let up. Tomorrow is a studio session on a song I wrote with Heino Moellor. It is his session so I am just there for moral support. Tina and I are starting to have a new kitchen  built, so we are going to be living without a kitchen and in a construction site for the next month or so. You guys may see a knocked down wall when you get here for the July event.
Wed. we start the BEER FOR BREAKFAST shows again. Gary Hannan is back in Nashville and going to do this once a month. It is really cool with some monster artists and writers showing up. Where I got to sing with the lead singer of Little River Band and many other people.
Sam;s Jams continues on and I play with Allen Shervelle, Kelly Shervelle, Jon Webber and John Carrol at the Maxwell House. That is all Wed.
Thus is a rehearsal with my old friend and flame Chris Maze, getting ready for a big porch party going on in Franklin this weekend.
Then Sunday, Father's day is the Father's day canoe trip.

So it's good to be back. Hope I make it.
