I had my Community Concert Thursday May 12th from 1pm to 3 pm. I put out refreshments: cookies crackers, dip, nuts and such and provided ice water and lemonade. My brother Robert set up all the mics (4) and the PA. The crowd was smaller than I expected - about 20 plus listeners. I don't think I will do a repeat of this at least not at the same venue. It was a government building so we were not allowed to put out a tip jar or sell our CDs. That sucked. The actual performing part went well as there were four of us playing originals and some covers. We had fun and the audience seemed to enjoy it. It's always good to have a place to play. It will never grow into a songwriters festival.
