Last week I attended a Native Plant Conference in Cullowhee, NC. There was a talent contest of 12 participants and I won first place with my song "Love Stinks." People were falling out of their chairs laughing at it. Before I sang I told them I had quit taking Viagara as the only effect it had on me was to make me taller. Anyway, my prize was two pawpaw plants. After the contest a live band played from 8:30 till 11:30 without taking a break. We all danced up a storm. Women outnumbered men 3 to 1 so I had quite a choice of dancing partners. The previous night we did Contra dancing. My friend who went there with me ask what was Contra dancing? I told him it was similar to square dancing. We stayed in air-conditioned dorms with a private bathroom.
