MAB, you know what I've been through since I moved here, and everything you say is the music gospel!!! I had not been asked by anyone to write with them, other than a few people who had just started writing, until I started working with YOU! In two months of working together, I've already been asked to write with people who are sought after writers, and we have commercial songs that have been getting great feedback from our Writer's Night performances! Knowing BOTH what to do, and what not to do in this industry, and especially this town, is critical!! I would not trust my songwriting teaching to anyone but you. You have been inside out this industry, and have encountered everything anyone could ever run across, and more! Your ability to draw out the authenticity of the writer/musician is mind-blowing!! You look at every angle of the artist's raw talent, directing and developing it into the perfect, marketable, memorable package and experience that both the industry leaders and fans are wanting, but are not finding by those who try to wing-it on their own!! Because of you, I had the honor of writing with Dani Jamerson and you and have one the best songs in my catalog from it, AND got to work with such an incredible person, talent and writer while having the time of my life!!
I have always struggled with keeping focused and feeling under-supported until I started working with you. Now, we have new KILLER songs in one writing session, not two or three etc. sessions per song, and you keep me inspired to constantly compete with myself -- to write better songs than the last, that represent me and resonnate with the fans! You set a process in motion! Better songs naturally attract the better writers asking to write with us, developing relationships that broaden our fan base, industry attention, etc.!
I wish I had worked with you from the beginning, but am just so thankful I finally did! I wish EVERY songwriter/artist had the MAB advantage!!
