Awhile back (2004) an old friend of mine collaborated with me on some words I wrote. The only reason this song is "just now" being posted is....I finally got his permission. The music and melody are Tony's.....I played and sang it the best I could ? years ago....Thanks Tony!
Sit back and enjoy
John
Update: We are trying to determine which year we did this.....tune back in for the exciting conclusion.....
In a Moment of Weakness

She'll forget about tomorrow
The changes that may come
Silhouettes of risings sorrow
Come from another rising sun
Trapped inside the darkness
Of her ever present tears
She's refusing all the caring
Giving in to all her fears
In a moment of weakness
She began to tumble down
In a moment of weakness
she forgot about the sound
calling her back ~ calling her back
She finds it all too easy
To turn out ever light
Just another of her habits
Finding shelter in the night
Crazy dancers spinning wildly
As the tears pour down her face
Around a rave inspired madness
Just to forget about this place
Oh the dark streets as the silence gets so loud
Oh the dark streets all alone inside the crowd
wandering on wandering on
In a moment of weakness
She began to tumble down
In a moment of weakness
she forgot about the sound
calling her back ~ calling her back
Lead
Now the dawn again approaches
A blank stare across her face
Will tomorrow be forgiving
Will there ever be a trace
Of a lonely hearted woman
Who retreated from the game
Cause she thought it didnt matter
And she felt she was to blame
In a moment of weakness
She began to tumble down
In a moment of weakness
she forgot about the sound
calling her back ~ calling her back
calling her back ~ calling her back
calling her back ~ calling her back
