Tom Ebelt songs
I just had to post this because it reminded me of the Rittmo Theatre characters Barb and Billy. So this is a tribute to "Rittmo & the Collaborators" (what a talented group).
WE JUST CALLED IT LOVE
We grew up in this neighborhood,
We were young and times were good,
And we'd walk together hand in hand.
And we lost our innocense:
Don't know why, it just made sense,
And we've been together all this time.
(chorus)
You said you'ld love me forever, until the sun fell down.
I said I want us together from now on.
We never knew what to call the light from the stars above.
Call it temptation, call it our youth, we just called it love.
We got married and found a place,
Nothing special, not much space,
But we both were happy on our own.
And when you had our baby,
I thought I'd cry for sure,
'Cause I learned to love you even more.
(chorus)
