Music and melody by Joe Wilson Kolb
Lyrics by Beeswing
I fell in love with an instrumental called "Starshowers" on Joe's page, and I wanted to try and paint a picture in words of what I saw as I listened. This is the result.
Music is a universal language. The original instrumental guitar version represented to Joe," a
place at the sparkling city by the sea... (Corpus Christi, Texas) for reflection......"
An ocean might divide us
But our vision coincided
We both have been enthralled
By starshowers on the shore.....

Lonely Moonlit Shore
The soft moonlight
Caresses her face
And dresses her
In a gown of lace
The night is bright
With sparks like silver rain
Starlight shining in her eyes
Reveals her tears of pain
Why is she sad? What is she waiting for
As she drifts along the lonely moonlit shore?
The salt-warm breeze
Embraces her cheek
While the ocean gently dances
Round her feet
Why does she gaze
Across the midnight sea
Is there an answer in the waves
And will it set her free?
Why is she sad? What is she waiting for
As she drifts along the lonely moonlit shore?
