The Old Home Place

This is actually a poem written by Hazel Davis, a hometown friend, back in Arkansas.  The song lyrics are pretty much verbatim from the poem.  The poem is written about the home place of her husband,Leonard.  The place is only a mile and a half from my home place so I know it well.
