Folks...Dave's sweet "Rose" has passed on...but she is still just as dear now as then! Here is "part" of an email I got from Dave back in 2005. (Forgive me buddy but I just thought it was worthy of sharing........ the song is...perfect!!!)

Rose has been in a local nursing home since november of 2002.....she has alzheimers and is pretty much in her own little world these days.....but its a happy world.....she is always sweet and loving and the staff there loves her....they call her "rosie"  :)  ......my sister annette and i both live in town just 5 minutes from the nursing home, so one of us stops in every day after work to see her....i play piano there once a week for the old folks on a lovely old baby grand in the dining room, its called dave's dinner music lol.....i play standards and pretty melodies....they like it, but also its good therapy for me, it helps me cope, it makes me feel like im playing for mom like i did on the old upright in the old house all those years ago....well, not THAT long ago i guess lol,
