1.  Seeds were sown. Some were thrown
on the path and walked upon. 
The birds flew down and began to eat 
until every seed was gone. 

Seeds were sown. Some were thrown
on the hard and rocky ground.
They tried to grow but they withered away 
for no water could be found.

If you listen to the Word of God,
the seed of faith will grow in you. 

2.  Seeds were sown. Some were thrown 
and began to grow quite tall. 
Among them were some thorny weeds 
that grew up and choked them all.

and grew up just like they should. 
The fruit produced was a hundred fold 
for the soil was moist and good. (Refrain.)
