As some of you know, I was in Haiti 2 days after the 'quake, for about two weeks.  We saw and experienced things that you can't begin to imagine.  But, like every other disaster I'v been in over the past 10 years, it's the human side that is most impactful.  Then, when I see and hear the apathy from back home, it just pisses me off.

When you look at Haiti, keep this in mind - In the late 90's, all the top geologists did a survey of the New Madrid Fault in the US.  The concensus was that there is a 90 percent chance of a Magnitude 7 or higher quake there, within the next 50 years.  That was 10 years ago.  All predictions are that memphis would be a total loss, with extensive damage all up and down the Mississippi River basin.  It was a 7.0 that destroyed Port au Prince.
