I wrote this song approximately 38 years ago.  We started recording it about 6 years ago and just now completed it.... long time coming.

I was standing in the desert

When I looked into the sky

The pain was gone and I could see

The eagle flying high

I reached out and I touched him

Saw the reflection in his eyes

And I knew at just that moment 

I'd reached the sky.
