Love, What a Concept
By Larry Winemiller

Verse 1
Tell me,
What brings hearts together
sets humans apart
Gives strength to the weak
and little babies their start
What knows no boundaries
has power beyond measure
Makes those who see blind
and causes pain and pleasure
What can make the rich, richer
bestow wealth to the poor
Make those without crave it
and those who have it, want more

Chorus
Love, what a concept
too intense, to go into depth
But no mere word
could make us feel this way
Love, what a concept
to see it in action, takes away my breath
One thing I’m sure of
we all need it every day

Verse 2
Tell me,
What makes the old feel young
the short feel tall
Makes your confidence stand up
and your dignity crawl
What knows no color
but adds color to life
Makes home sweet home
and husband and wife
What gives happiness a beginning
and loneliness an end
Takes all you got
but gives back all you send

Chorus
Love, what a concept
too intense, to go into depth
But no mere word
could make us feel this way
Love, what a concept
to see it in action, takes away my breath
One thing I’m sure of
we all need it every day

Hey Larry,

Good title, caught my eye quick.  And is a perfect title for this song. There's a lot of feeling, emotion.  Almost philosophical.  And, there is a ton of truth - reality - symbolism.  I like the structure.  Put in lamens terms:  It's not too short,  It's not too long,  It's a darn good song.

Well done man, very well done.
