So Good To See You
It's been such a long long time.
So how have you been doing my friend.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again.
What have you been doing with yourself.
Why do uou care after all these years.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again.
Ain't there times you wish you could forget.
All those years were a waste of time.
And how is the wife these years and is she doing well.
Oh that's so strange after all these years.
So many loney days and nights.
Do you still see the city lights.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again.
You say you never see them anymore.
Forever seems to be too long.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again.
So when you run into them again say hi for me.
Oh yes it's has been way too long.
Do you seem to be losing your sanity.
Oh me too my friend.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again.
Do you say it's become a castastrophe.
It doesn't have to be that way.
All these year where have they gone.
If we could only dream it away.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again.
So when the days have settled down.
We might be able to see the light.
Shinging through the tunnel.
Better days ahead my friend.
So good to see you.
So good to see you again
It's been good to see you
It's been good to see you again
Take care my friend
So take care my friend.

Larry - this has potential - but you should try to organize the lyric in such a way as to show the verses and chorus more clearly. It appears to be a dialogue between two old friends, but it's hard to discern that, they way that it's currently formatted.

I agree with Eddie. There is a bit of a blur between verse and chorus. I do hear something in my head with 2 people singing practically on top of each other, in a round sort of fashion.

I get your idea here, Larry - and I like it, but like Eddie and Debbie, I found myself trying to sort out a bit where the verse ends and the chorus begins. One line that stood out to me was "why do you care after all these years?" To me, that line didn't make much sense. I wondered about WHAT the person still cared about. I think a few lines that tell a short "backstory" would be helpful as well - to let the listener know who this person is and maybe where and how you connected with them again. Just my two cents.

Hey my old friend, I agree with what they say to and I know how you do things also
If you would title this "Good to see you Again" and put 4 lines together with two of them rhyming
and use the best 4 lines as a repeatable chorus you will have a good one,ok yrral, good to see you again, Charlie

I would just change that one line "why do you care after all these years" .... To... "Glad we hooked up again my friend" This opens up that your listening to him.

And on the line "you say you never see them anymore" who is "they"? Maybe... Maybe it could be "her" his x-wife! Lol! Just a thought!

I take this as we are hearing only one half of a conversation. And that can work. Think "Hello Again" by Neil Diamond. And keeping the other person neutral allows the person to be an old friend, a significant other or even a family member. It allows more people to identify with imagination.
