Hey dennis,

I ve been overseas for a while. Where are you hiding  your lyrics?

The best way to get folk to look at  your work  is to look and comment on other  folks work first

.. quid pro quo. :)

Hi Dennis,

I totally agree with John on this. As Moderator of Poets Corner I introduced the rule that for every lyric/poem

posted you need to review 2 other works. It has a snowball effect because those people's works that you

commented/reviewed come back to comment on your work, and so on and so on..... before you know it, the board

gets very busy. I would love to see this rule implemented in both Writers and Lyrics lounges, it would give both forums

the va va voom it needs to get rocking!!!!!!! So don't wait, post 2 reviews now, sit back and you'll soon get responses on

your lyrics Happy

Good topic. Critiques, collaborations, creative arenas etc...good solid participation in this area of songramp is a worthy objective....lets get it going...haha

Seems three areas in the forum section for song development

1.Songwriting.....techniuques, basic discussions, songs at an early 'idea' stage....lots of room to kick around ideas in initial stage?

2.Writer's Room....lyric/song taking shape, has verses, chorus....looks like a song....more serious collaboration/fine-tuning?

3.Lyric Lounge....lyric complete.

All three areas should have general rule of review 2, post 1.

I researched the old songramp for this intel. New songramp, in its infantsy...yeah good opportunity to kick it around some.. :)

Sorry Dennis, no hijack intended...I'll dig out one of your posts and comment .
