Song title/ '' Jesus Forgives''
(C) 2014
_______________________________
Vs 1:
_____
Some people go through life
Holding on to grudges and strife
And wonder why things ain't going right
Sometimes it could be something
You're doing wrong and you don't realize it

Vs 2:
____
Words hurt rather it's a lie are the truth
I can relate to how you feel, cause I been there to
But it makes no difference, who is wrong are who is right
Sometimes you have to let some things go
If you want peace in your life

Chorus:
______
Jesus forgives
He will forgive you for anything
When you ask for forgiveness in his name
But in order for you to be forgiven
You must forgive the one who trespassed against you

Vs 3:
_____
I know it's hard
To live a christian life
And do what is right, all of the time
But when we walk by faith, and love like Jesus love
There ain't nothing in this world, that we can't overcome

Chorus:
______
Jesus forgives
He will forgive you for anything
When you ask for forgiveness in his name
But in order for you to be forgiven
You must forgive the one who trespassed against you

Don't let unforgiveness
Stop your blessing
God is willing
To turn your life around
If you let him

Chorus:
______
Jesus forgives
He will forgive you for anything
When you ask for forgiveness in his name
But in order for you to be forgiven
You must forgive the one who trespassed against you

Hi Dennis,

So much truth here. Lovely write, thanks for sharing. I've also been thinking of writing a lyric along

these same lines. How can we expect forgiveness when we won't forgive?

This is seriously a good write. Love the message in the song. In terms of flow, I'm not sure if you have a melody in mind or if this song has been recorded. If so, feel free to post so we can hear it. If not, I'd suggest to make sure the syllables count isn't off. It seems like it in some parts and it will be hard to put it to music without sounding "rushed" in some parts.
