You can change the title of your blog at any time as many times as you like just select the Update button to save the changes.

Answer: You will not be able to open them directly with iTunes at first. This is due to the download protection mechanisms we have in place to protect the artists. You will need to save them to a folder on your hard drive. On a PC this is done by using the right mouse button on the download link & selecting "Save to disk...". Create a folder on your desktop & save the songs into that. Once this is done, you can play locally via iTunes, and things will work fine.
I'm resetting your download counts so you can try again with instructions above.

Question: How are my songs protected? Answer: Songramp has it's own TOS- Terms of Service that members agree to when they join. If anyone violates it there are steps taken to make it right.
Another form of protection is you also have the right to allow your songs to be downloaded or not. The choice is yours.

That ought to do it. The link you'll find on your homepage is currently broken; we're working on fixing it, as it's a site wide problem, but for now, you should be able to edit your songs from the My Ramp area.

Canadian credit card companies don't have an effective way to indicate the address is Canadian, so when the credit card is verifying the address, it looks at it as a U.S. address, which will cause an address failure each time. Question: Why do I have to scroll from side to side on the site? Answer: This site is configured for computer resolution at 1024x768 which is considered standard. If your Monitor is set to something larger than this like 800x600 - it would cause you to have to scroll from side to side. You can change your monitor settings by Right Clicking on the desktop and Selecting Properties, Selecting Settings and changing to the Monitor Resolution to 1024x768. Click the Apply button to make the changes.
If you still have to scroll from side to side, you may have something open in your browser such as your favorites or search that cause your browser size to be smaller. Simply close those windows.
Might want to check your browser settings....Those using internet explorer can go to tools/internet options/accessability and check ignore web site font settings.

5. Click the Send Friend Request button.
6. A request will be sent to the Songramp member, and upon approving you as a friend, they will then be added to your friendlist which is availabe on your own homepage.
Question: How do I find an artist's homepage? Answer: You can click on any members username and it will take you to the member's homepage.
If you are trying to locate an artist/member you can search for their name in the search area located on the sidebar under Features. Keep in mind unless you know the member username it might be difficult to find with their Real Name. Some members do not display their real names.
Question: How do I get to My Homepage? Answer: You access your homepage by clicking on the "My Homepage" link on the sidebar under the Member Features.

Question: How do I edit/delete a photo in the photo gallery? Answer: To Edit: At this time, you can only edit the genre, title and wording under the image but not the image itself. Go to My Gallery, Click on edit the image link located on the main image page under the image to make changes. Select the Save changes button to save changes.
To Delete: Go to My Gallery, Click on delete the image link located on the main image page under the photo. Once you delete an image there is no way to bring it back and you lose all the comments associated with that image.
Question: How do I upload a photo to the photo gallery? Answer: Click on the Gallery link at the top of the site under the banner OR under Member Features: My Gallery
Click the upload image link
Select the album type
Format: Your image must be a jpg or gif format no larger than 500kb or 0.50mb
Restrictions: 3 images uploaded per day and no nudity or sexual content permitted.
Click the browse button and upload your image from your computer - the bulk upload is disabled - you can only upload one image at a time.
Enter a title for your image
Enter any information that you want to display under image in the Caption box.
The download area is disabled - does not matter what you select.
You must upload only images that are yours and you have the rights to upload.
Click the Upload Image button to save the changes

Question: What is My Gallery? Is it a private photo album? Answer: My PhotosWhen you upload images for public viewing... they display in the Photo Gallery. You do not have a private photo gallery. Your Photo Gallery is all of the photos that you have uploaded to the site. This helps you keep them organized and to know what you have uploaded. The My Photos link is located on the sidebar under Member Features and within the Photo Gallery top links. Select the link VIew My Photos.
My FavoritesThis lists your favorite albums. You can subscribe to an album and it will automatically email you when someone uploads a new photo to that album. This is organized in your Favorites area. Select the link View My Favorites.
Question: Keep seeing the old one. Answer: You may need to hold the Shift key & click the Refresh button in your web browser; that should display the new image. You can also try clearing your cache from your browser. You may also need to delete your browser's internet cache. If you aren't familiar with how to do this, you can follow this instruction:

Question: Please add/remove me from your email Newsletter. Answer: Go to My Profile page, scroll down the page to "Receive Email Newsletters", and select Yes to receive the newsletter and No to be removed from the newsletter. Click the "Save Changes" button to save the information. Or Click on the opt out link located at the bottom of the email newsletter .

Question: Such as my name, address, phone, etc? Answer: Go to My Profile page and enter the new information in the appropriate areas. Click the "Save Changes" button to save the information.

Question: I have a new Email address. Answer: Go to My Profile page and in the top left area there is a link to change your email. Click that link and enter the needed information. Click the "Save Changes" button to save the information. Go check your email and click on the link that is provided in your new email. The change will then be made. Your done.

Question: I do not want my current Username. Answer: Since this requires administrative time to change a username, we charge a small fee for this change. The fee is $15. Click on the link below to purchase the username change product. Within the product page, you are asked to insert your new member/username. Once payment is received, your username will be changed. You can email store@songramp.com if you have any questions. In the event, that your new username is already taken, we will email you for a new one.
Getting a new member/username will change your name throughout the site on all information that you have posted or uploaded.

Question: How do I change my Password? Answer: Go to My Profile page and in the top left area there is a link to change your password. Click that link and enter the needed information. Click the "Save Changes" button to save the information.

Question: Is there a limit to the number of Charcters you can put in the LOCATION box of the WHO'S ONLINE page.? I can only fit 20, though I see others with more. Answer: There is a 20 limit character to the Location Box on the Profile page. When we moved the information over we took whatever was there, and inserted it in the box. Everyone has a 20 limit character. The intent is for members to input there location so other members can see where others are from.
Question: What is My Profile? Answer: My Profile is a page that stores your personal information. This information is private to the community except for the areas of location and avatar which are optional to complete. This page allows you to edit your information so changeds to your password, email, address, avatar, etc would be completed on My Profile page.
The My Profile page is found on your homepage by clicking MY RAMP and then MY PROFILE.
Question: Can I decide what music to sell and what music to provide for free? Answer: Yes. When you select the Upload link located in the Open Mic Upload page. The song will automatically stream, but you decide whether to sell or provide a free download. You must choose one you can not do both. The Open Mic will display all music those for sale and free downloads. The Store (Shop Link) will display only those songs for sell.
Question: Can I have my earnings sent to a charity organization? Answer: We will send your payments to you and you can send them to any one or organization that you choose.
Question: If I have a song for sale in the open mic, can i change my mind and make it a free download? Answer: You can't. Once you decide to sell that song in the store - you can edit the song, image, title, and description area but you can't change back and forth. You can however, delete that song in open mic.
Question: How will I be paid? Answer: When you fill out the vendor signup form, you select how you want to be paid via check or paypal. You also select your minimum payment with $10 being the minimum amount you must make in order for a payment to be made. If you have made over the minimum amount then you will be paid by the 10th of every month.
Checks are sent around the 7th of each month for the previous month's sales. So, if you sold at least $10 in January, a check will be sent to you on February 7th.
Question: How do I delete a song in the store? Answer: You can not delete a song in the store. You must email store@songramp.com and let them know that you want to delete a song. The reason for this is that once you put a song in the store, you may have buyers and they will need to be able to download the song.
Question: How much can I sell my songs? Answer: SongRamp sells all individual download songs for $1.00. This is split 70% vendor (you) and 30% SongRamp. At this time, we do not sell albums for download.
Selling CDs where they are shipped to the customer, you decide what the price will be. All splits with SongRamp are 70% to the vendor (you) and 30% to SongRamp.

Selling Digital Download Music
If you are interested in selling downloads, you would upload through the Open Mic upload page. All individual songs are priced at .99 cents per download. Artists receive 70% and SongRamp 30% of the download. Only HiFi versions are sold.
Accepted Upload Format for Open Mic and Selling Downloads
The upload standard at SongRamp is MPEG version 1, Layer 3 (128 kbps, 44.1 kHz), or 192kpbs, 44.1 kHz in Stereo. This is near CD quality. We do not accept song clips or samples. The Open Mic and Store are for polished and completed songs only.
