I Want To Know

(female)
I WANT TO KNOW, IS THIS ANOTHER TEST, ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM THE REST, I WANT TO KNOW
WHY MY FEAR RUNS TO HIDE, LETTING ME MELT DOWN INSIDE,
WITH EVERY KISS
WHY MY TREMBLING KNEES WON’T HOLD, THE GIRL WHO ONCE STOOD STRONG AND BOLD, BEFORE YOUR TOUCH, I LIKE TOO MUCH
I WANT TO KNOW

(male)
I WANT TO KNOW, WHY I FEEL SO GOOD INSIDE, HOW MY FEAR GOT PUSHED ASIDE, I WANT TO KNOW
WHY I FIGHT WITH ALL MY MIGHT, NOT TO SQUEEZE YOU OH SO TIGHT
WITH EVERY KISS
THOUGH MY HEART HAS NOT A PRAYER, I THANK GOD THAT YOU’RE THERE
WITH EVERY TOUCH, I LIKE TOO MUCH, I WANT TO KNOW

CHORUS:
WHOA………………..WHOA……………..COULD IT BE?
WHOA………………..WHOA……………..IT’S PLAIN TO SEE
FOR YOU AND ME I Want To Know

VERSE: (Female)
I THINK I KNOW, WHY YOU’RE ALWAYS ON MY MIND, SEE YOU’RE FACE THERE ALL THE TIME, I THINK I KNOW
WHY I’M WILLING ONE MORE TIME, TO LAY IT ALL DOWN ON THE LINE
WITH EVERY KISS
WHY MY HEART JUST CAN’T SAY NO, TO THE PLACES I MAY GO
WITH EVERY TOUCH, I LIKE TOO MUCH, I THINK I KNOW

CHORUS:
WHOA………………WHOA…………….I KNOW TOO
WHOA………………WHOA…………….I SAY “WILL YOU”
WE SAY “I DO” THAT’S HOW LOVE GOES
Now I Know
WE NOW KNOW………………….End

What a great song. Sure sounds Nashville... back when they were really country. The vocals are first class and your lyrics and melody stand out in every line. I wanna' know how you keep on writing these fantastic songs? LOL! Keep 'em coming! Dave

i just came back for a listen. i think something i liked that i failed to mention last time wwas that deep male voice with the 1/4 second falsetto on the ends of his words that go up (vs down). he is a great singer, she is too, but a duet - they are stunning.

Ends with the agreement, they both know. I like that. Nice idea to make this one a duet. Glad I came back for another listen. Keep up the good writing Steve.
