This is a quasi-finished instrumental mix of a song Eddie and I have been working on for one of our new SongRamp lyricists. While we are waiting on the vocal track(s) I have been goofing around with the mix and decided to post it mainly for everyone to hear Eddie’s harp tracks on this one….
Eddie and I have done numerous songs together and this one follows our usual collaboration pattern…kinda…lol. Eddie will usually work up a melody and a rough vox and send me the rough tracks. Then I will start replacing ProJammer tracks with my own. But on this one, I altered the progressions some by throwning in some different minor chords and stuff and needed another harp tracks to match the overhaul. Eddie laid one down as he usually does. He will send me a harp track that basically goes the entire song, and then when we have the vocals tracks, I will cut him in and out around the vocalist. On this one though, I like his tracks so well the whole song that I decided to do a rough instrumental track and post it up so everyone else could enjoy as well….
The finished version of this should be going up soon with a slightly different title and some killer vocals from one of SongRamps finest. In the meantime, I invite you to listen to one of my favorite Fast Eddie harp tracks where it’s bluesy, slightly jazzy…and packs a whole lotta soul…….Enjoy!!!

I love instrumental tunes, you guys created good piece of music. Of course lyrics with good vocalist will turn this tune in to a song, and very good one. Love the mix.

Nice surprise, Jeff...interesting thing about this song is that I used two different harps, a Gm Natural and a D. This was a fun song to work on. The soon-to-be-released "other" version will be KILLER with the lyrics of one of our new members coupled with the vocals of one our all time best female singers...

Hey Jeff...long time no see...
This is a very cool song, with some nice changes to give it that deep lonely kind of vibe....some excellent playing by you, and I am enjoying this alot...harp sounds so good, and great job by Eddie. Take care.

Hmmm I'm late to this .. dunno why ?? Eddie sure can wring some nice sounds out of those harps. Man I wish I could do that. Great bed of music for this Jeff, it fits so well.
