Ande, Great Song. It moved me to the core. I just got back from SC going through my granma's "things" and brought back "Pieces Of Her Past" I love song writers who put "everyday life" into songs.

Ande, Donna, and Brock, You three never cease to amaze me. I wish that there were more songwriters who took the time (like you three obviously do) to study & practice the craft. Job well done. ~Stef from SNM~ P.S. Brock, we need to get you a record deal, already! :)

I posted a reply to this song once before on JPL. Man! Ande. Man! Major hand claps to you and co-writer Donna Aylor and that moving rendition by by Brock Goodwin. I have about twenty to thirty song titles that i haven't even written the lyrics to yet. Whenever i hear this song, it makes me want to write non stop. Ain't nothin' like a song about the Pieces Of A Persons Past. Nothin'. This is an award winning song.
God bless,
-Nate "Boomer"

Hey guys,
I've always loved this song. I heard Brock do this live around a campfire when I was visting him in Albuquerque on my move to Nashville. And Man, it sounded good! (I think my next stop was at Donna's in San Angelo after that hellish strip of highway between El Paso and there. I'm really looking forward to Brock getting to Nashville. When I moved here a month or so ago, I never dreamed that my favorite co-writer would follow so soon. Now we can write in the same room! I can't wait. For those interested in hearing more of Brock you can hear a few more songs at my website here on Songramp.

Again, I so like your titles, and that's where it all begins doesn't it. Nice sentimental lyric. I love the prosody. Everything works great on this one. Germain |
