Celebrating as many years in the music business (we won't say how many but this guy saw the Beatles Live)
Steve is Montreal born and raised, now lives in the country north of the city and scrapes out a living playing local bars and restaurants in the Laurentians.

Solo can play harmonica on a stand bluegrass and crosswind blues style. Steve Solo plays Rock and Blues but is a Country boy at heart wailing out Hank's and Willie's style.
Musically trained Stephen started out with private piano lessons at the age of 5. Picked up the guitar at the age of 12 forming his first band at 16. He studied theory and ear training at McGill in Montreal, and studied lyrical writing at Concordia University. Steve has been an apprentice to Craig Morrison and a journeyman to Country Music's Bob Fuller recording with both artists.
